ISONEM M 21 |
ISONEM M 21 is highly flexible and water impermeable tile adhesive, cement based, polymer modified and at high performance. It is ideal to use in wall and floor coating at interior and outer places of ceramic, faience, marble, granite etc on surfaces of piaster, alum, concrete, gypseous, ready gypseous blocks, gypsum plaster, old ceramic, ready concrete blocks. Upon excellent characteristics, it achieves a complete protection against the water and moisture. It features an easy adhesion to any kind of surface, no sliding is observed, it also saves time and workmanship costs since the product is available to be applied onto the old ceramic-coated surfaces due to its flexibility tolerance.
Surface Preparation :
The surface should be clean, dry and smooth and it should be wetted in the manner to ensure no water accumulation on multi porous surface. If the surface presents big holes or uneven parts, it should be repaired with ISONEM M 03 Elastic Mortar. The application should not be made under sun or excessive temperatures.
Application :
The clean water of approximately 6,5 liters is put into a clean container and ISONEM M21 of 25 kg is poured into the water slowly and mixed with a mixer of low cycle to ensure in a homogenous structure. It leaves rest for 10 minutes. The prepared mortar is mixed for more two minutes before application. The mortar is applied onto the surface; the excessive thickness is adjusted by the knurled trowel. For a good adhesion, the air is discharged due to force applied by using a rubber hammer.
ISONEM M 21 is ideal to use in the following works;
- ceramic coating
- coating without removing the old ceramics
- coating on a painted or ceramic covered wall
- decorative brick coating at outer places
- big scale ceramic coating at the outer places
- coating on the surfaces damaged due to the hard conditions
- water tank or the swimming pool construction for the long life
